Get paid for what you don’t use

Once your system is MCS certified, you can register for the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) and sell surplus generation back to the grid. Most SEG tariffs run between 4p and 15p per kWh. We issue the MCS certificate you need to apply, at completion.

Add battery storage

A battery stores what your panels generate during the day and releases it in the evening, when your panels have stopped. Paired with an EV charger, it lets you charge your car on free solar generation. We fit battery storage as a standalone install or alongside a new solar system. From £2,800 installed.

Free survey
We visit to assess your roof orientation, shading, electrics and usage. Usually 30–45 minutes, no obligation.
Fixed written quote
You get a system design, panel count, predicted output and a fixed price in writing, before you commit to anything.
Installation
Typically completed in one day for a standard residential system. We notify your DNO and handle all paperwork.
MCS certificate issued
We issue your MCS certificate at completion and walk you through registering for the Smart Export Guarantee with your energy supplier.

Do I need planning permission for solar panels?

In most cases, no. Solar panels on a standard residential roof are permitted development in England. Listed buildings and some conservation areas are exceptions — we check this for your address during the survey.

Can I get a grant for solar panels?

There is no direct government grant for residential solar PV in 2026. However, the MCS certificate we provide is required to access the Smart Export Guarantee, which pays you for surplus generation exported to the grid.

Will solar work on my roof?

South, south-east and south-west facing roofs generate the most. East/west-facing roofs still produce well. We assess your orientation, shading and pitch at the survey and tell you honestly if the numbers don't stack up.

Can you install solar and an EV charger together?

Yes. We fit both, and pairing them with a battery-ready charger means you can charge your car on free solar generation when the sun is out.

How long do solar panels last?

Most panels carry a 25-year performance guarantee. Inverters typically last 10–15 years. We tell you the warranties on everything we supply before you commit.

Who qualifies for the Smart Export Guarantee?

Any household with an MCS-certified solar installation can register for the SEG with their energy supplier. The MCS certificate we issue at completion is the document you need to apply.

Can you add battery storage to an existing solar system?

Yes, in most cases. We survey your existing inverter and consumer unit and confirm compatibility before quoting. Battery storage from £2,800 installed.
